Favorite Photo

Thought I'd share one of my favorite photos. Color and clarity not of very good quality - had pretty cheap camera at that time. But the subject matter is of the HIGHEST quality!

Here are my girls, Cindra in pigtails (she no longer wears all that jewelry), and Brookie in the neat glasses (she always loved the glasses!).

They were such cute little girls. And, of course, are now beautiful women.

Oh, how cute the girls were! I carry in my wallet still a picture of my oldest two girls in pinafores and ringlets taken when they were 2 and 3 at a wedding.
MOOSE yesterday! How cool!

Hey, I know these girls. They look so angelic. Just looking at them one would never guess that the one on the left BIT me and I still carry the scar.

(Cindra, you asked me last night how long I planned to "harp" on this -- for as long as I'm getting milage, Sweetie!)

Kat, some of thos pics pull at your heartstrings, don't they? I have one all time fav but no scanned copy of it. It's of the kids under the xmas tree, Cindra is holding Scott when he was two months old, and everyone thinks she is holding a doll!

CJ, I DID vote for you - only because yours was the BEST! Love you, glad you're home safe. xoxoxo

Quilly-sister, are you sure your memory is accurate? You're only 6 years older than Cindra is, so may have faulty memory?! It's hard for me to believe she would bite anyone...she just did not ever do anything bad when she was little! (I qualified that). Seriously. xoxoxo

Uh, mom? She tried to take me down the stairs while I was sitting in a doll stroller when I was a baby, from what I heard... and you don't think she'd bite Auntie CB? I also love that picture of us. It's in my living room in a frame and also on my computer screen saver.

Now, Brookie, she wasn't being bad, she was trying to be nice - giving you a ride! Love you xoxoxo

Jackie, we were in your kitchen at Big Creek. I bent over to tie her shoe. She bit me on the shoulder. Aunt Marge wanted you to bit Cindra back. You thought that was barbaric. I was all for it.

e

I left that out of the above post, and I knew you'd want it.

CJ and Quilly-Sister....okay, maybe it happened - it sounds like Auntie Marge to me. She is the nicest, sweetest person in the world, but her child rearing techniques were old-school. I can remember Joel holding his breath when he was really angry (sitting in his high chair so pretty young), and she'd throw a glass of water in his face!

That's my perception too, Honey. But I guess they thought they were doing what they had to. There is no doubt they loved their kids beyond measure. For my grandbabies sakes' - I'm glad you are not into corporal punishment!! xoxoxoxo
